Self-adhesive floor protection

Protection that moves is not protection.

GripGuard sticks to the floor, so it stays exactly where you laid it. No tape. Nothing slides. Nothing gets underneath.

Loose mat
GripGuard
Same kick. One slides, one stays.

Your floor protection could be scratching the floor.

A loose mat slides the moment someone walks on it. The corners curl. The tape lifts. Then dust and grit get underneath, and every footstep grinds that grit into the floor you laid it down to protect.

You only find out at handover, when the mat comes up and the client looks down.

Peel. Lay. Press. Done.

  1. 01
Peel the backing as you unroll.
  2. 02
Lay it flat across the floor.
  3. 03
Press it down. It stays put until you lift it.

No tape, no weighing down the edges, no relaying it every morning.

GripGuard HeavyD laid down a site corridor, with the crew already walking on it.

Roll lengths and prices are from your notes in the review document. Our only datasheet is for a 160gsm roll (1m wide, white or blue, 72 rolls per pallet), so the Reno+ and Breathe widths, and every grade's colour and pallet count, still need each grade's datasheet. HeavyD's 1m width is printed on the sheet itself.

The roll is not the whole cost.

A loose mat looks cheaper on the shelf. Then you add the tape, the time your crew spends taping it down, and the time spent relaying it when it moves.

Common questions

Which grade should I buy?

For most renovation work, Reno+. For newly laid floors, Breathe. For heavy trades and commercial fit-out, HeavyD. If you are unsure, send us a WhatsApp and tell us about the job.

Does it leave marks on the floor when I lift it?

In our own test on timber laminate, left down for about a week, it lifted off with hardly any residue.

How long can it stay down?

As long as your job needs it.

Can I use it again on the next job?

Up to 3 times, as long as the adhesive side is kept clean when you lift it.

Does it work on stairs and walls?

Yes. GripGuard sticks to stair treads, risers, skirtings and wall bases, where a loose mat cannot stay in place.
